man it's been almost 2 months already since my last entry.  I am really slacking off huh?  but it's always better to be inspired to write a xanga entry rather then feeling "have to".  so here are some quick updates.

I have graduated successfully! although I haven't picked up my diploma yet, I have all the necessary documents.  the only thing I need to do is have my head shots taken and go to school and pick it up.  getting this diploma has really turned many things around for me.  just 2 years ago, I was still in my college town living a very laid back lifestyle.  although I am not 100% where my career is going, I do know and believe that I belong here in Taiwan for now.

my last two years here, I have made many great friends and learned more about life.  I always knew that coming to Taiwan for grad school was a decision that GOD wanted me to do.  Now I am asking him to lead me as I step out into the real world.  I would just like to take this moment to thank my family and friend (in Taiwan and US) who have been there for me every step of the way.  you guys know who you are....

Got so many pics i need to upload!   Let's start with my trip to the US.  While i was in the US i alsi attended two weddings.  One was in richmond and one as in blacksburg.  It seems like it's bout that time for my friends and classmates to get married, since we are in our late 20's, or is it too early still?   well i know for me, i am no where near the thought of settling down.  i am about to graduate and start me first job (haven't found it yet...) and i know it would take couple more years before i am in the mind set of starting a family.  still, congrats to both lisa and valerie.  it sure was good to see everyone!

lisa's wedding:

While i was in blacksburg, i also got to see "SheSha", the hokkah lounge.  It's owned by two friends

of mine Kenan and Paul.  It literally took them about 2 years to make their dreams come true.  They

had to deal with alot of codes, regulations and the town of blacksburg.  ALOT more things than i had

to go through when me and my partners opened our restaurant.  if you guys are ever in blacksburg,

make sure you guys stop in and say hi to kenan and paul.

There are total of 16 flavors that you can get to come in a hooka, including coke and capuccino.  but

also try their sandwiches and drinks.  it's absolutely off the hook!!!

Valerie's wedding:

congrats to Kenny and Kris on their engagement:

that is one SLICK engamement ring!  you

gotta see it in person.

also congrats to james and nancy on their new born son, IAN!

and happy birthday to my friend peter:

The weekend in HK was nothing too spectacular.  been there too many times and did alot of walking.  the night life there...well, let's just say i was missing taiwan just after one day.  this time however, i did have some interesting conversation with HK friends who work with the mainland china.  there are still alot of things that i wanna see for myself, now i really need to make a trip out there.

speaking of traveling, i am leaving for the US tomorrow.  HELL YEAH!  gonna attend two weddings, one in richmond and one in blacksburg.  can't wait to see my old college friends.  should be alot of fun.  stay tuned for pics, pics, and more pics!!!!

How could any designer design their clothes to fit these models.  I hope these models are still alive...

on a lighter side, here is a pic to brighten your day!  i think someone is hungry for some protein!
